The Heat have finalized the contracts of Josh Mcroberts, Danny Granger, and Mario Chalmers. McRoberts, who averaged 8.5 pts and 4.8 rebounds for the Charlotte Bobcats, signed a four year contract where he will earn $5.3 million. Chalmers deal will net him a reported 4 million next year and Granger is signed for just over a million next year.
PAt Riley released comments on the recent signings. “It’s great to have Mario back,” Riley said. “We’re happy that he wants to continue his career in Miami, he’s one of our core players, and I believe he will have a great season.”
“One of our main priorities this offseason was obtaining a proven veteran like Danny with All-Star experience,” Riley said. “We expect him to be a multiposition player and have a very successful season in our system.”
